Discover some of Ableton Lives hidden secrets.

Although I work in various digital audio workstations, I do most of my work in Ableton Live as it is an interface that suites me and simply works quickly and very well.

There are a few hidden secrets to Live and they can be uncovered by right clicking on some of the audio effects plugins. EQ Eight, Dynamic Tube, Flanger and Saturator all have a “high quality” algorithm, Chorus offers a “crisp” option and three delay effects (Ping Pong, Simple Delay and Filter Delay) have 3 different options to chose from.

If you find you select a particular option regularly, you might want to select it, right click again and select “save as default preset”. That way it will always load up as your default setting.
